Uphire is pleased to welcome plant mechanic, Gary Kelly to the team, an addition that’s a great move for Uphire and our customers.
Gary has gained broad experience as a mechanic and service technician since completing his Automotive Apprenticeship in 2000. From running the wokshop at Eastern Creek Carts to working with earthmoving equipment, Gary brings a wide range of skills and competencies to the Uphire team. Having also previously worked in the access industry, Gary is well equipped to run the workshop at Uphire. An added benefit of Gary joining the team is that Uphire are now able to complete 90 Day and Annual Servicing in-house and complete 10 Year rebuilds for our customers.
Gary enjoys working with access equipment because of the variety that working with different machines and brands can offer, and sees his position at Uphire as a window of opportunity to excel in what he does. After several weeks on the job Gary is fitting in perfectly with the close knit Uphire team and enjoying the autonomy and decision making input he has in his new role.
Gary’s ultimate goal is to create an open, friendly and productive workshop, and he is already making leaps and bounds in that direction.
